Celebrate Bulgarian Culture with Your Art!

SNOWLIKE STUDIO invites young artists aged 5-18 to express their creativity and showcase their talents in an exciting exhibition Bulgarian Culture. This special event is organized to celebrate May 24th, the day of Bulgarian writing and culture. We encourage children to delve into the richness of Bulgarian traditions and share their interpretations through art. exhibition bulgarian culture

Details of Exhibition - Bulgarian Culture:

  • Virtual Exhibition Launch: May 17, 2024. A link will be available on this webpage.

  • Physical Exhibition Opening: May 18, 2024, at 5:00 PM at
    SNOWLIKE STUDIO Gallery, 636 Remington Rd, Unit C, Schaumburg, IL 60176

Submission Guidelines:

  • Age Group: 5 to 18 years.
  • Number of Submissions: Up to 3 drawings per child.
  • Format: Maximum size 50/70 cm, minimum A4.
  • Materials: Watercolor, tempera, acrylic, colored/graphic pencils, pastels, mixed media, collages, etc.
  • Theme: the drawings do not have to be directly related to the theme of the exhibition. The most important connection with the theme is that we will celebrate this wonderful holiday with our children's drawings.

How to Participate:

  • Capture Your Art: Ensure each drawing is well photographed.
  • Email: Send images to with the subject "Exhibition 'Bulgarian Culture'".
  • Include in Your Email: Child's first and last name, age, and a parent's phone number.
  • Submission Deadline: Midnight, May 1, 2024.

Selection Process:

  • Judging Dates: May 2-3, 2024, by our panel of artist-teachers.
  • Announcement: Accepted entries will be posted on this webpage on May 6, categorized into virtual and physical exhibition participants.
  • Review Approach: The committee will try to accept the maximum number of participants but is limited by the size of the virtual and physical gallery spaces. That is why it is necessary to select the drawings.

Exhibition Preparation:

  • Virtual Exhibition: No additional layout needed.
  • Physical Exhibition: Drawings must be mounted on colored cardboard extending 5 cm beyond the drawing on each side. The color choice should enhance the artwork. In the lower right corner, the card must be written with the name and surname and age of the child.
  • Delivery Options for Physical Exhibition:
    • Mail by May 11, 2024, to SNOWLIKE STUDIO's address.
    • Drop off on May 11, 2024, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
